Don't be a victim of GROPING - Raise your VOICE

Let me first began this article by explain what groping actually means in a sexual context.
Groping means fondling or touching a person in an undesired sexual manner without his or her consent. The term groping can also be considered as a sexual assault. The areas which are most frequently groped are the buttocks, breasts and thighs on a woman and the penis, testicles and buttocks on a man. Yes, not only women but even men at times are a victim of groping. Gropers might also press any part of their body against another person. These gropers are most of the time very sexually frustrated people and they wouldn’t let even the slightest of opportunity pass by.

Groping is very common these days in crowded public places and public transports such as buses, metros and local trains. Thousands of people fall victim to groping on a daily basis. Why do we fall prey to such perverts? The answer is pretty simple, we are too afraid to raise our voices against them. This attitude of staying silent and being a victim gives these perverts more confidence. The problem with us is that we feel that creating a scene at public places is not a good idea, my station is just a few stations away so let me just be silent about it. But little do you know that after you get off the metro this pervert who was groping you a few minutes ago will now grope someone else and this is only because you were too afraid to raise you voice.

I do understand that some people are really very timid but I urge you all to come out of your shell. You are not alone, look around you, there are so many fellow passengers around you. Make some noise and the crowd will for sure join in. This is India and we all are frustrated with something or the other. Some people are frustrated because the prices or onions have gone high while the others are frustrated because their boss just screwed their peace of mind at office. If you take a stand and question the actions of such gropers then trust me the people around will question his actions too. Eventually you will witness this groper being trashed black and blue by the frustrated people of our country.

So simple, isn’t it? All that you need to do is turn around and fight back.

This article is more of an appeal to the youth of my country. If you see such an unpleasant activity going on around you, please question their actions. You have all the rights in the world to stop a pervert from sexually assaulting someone. Be fearless ... The need of the hour is fearless people. Let us all come together and fight this evil of groping. Please do not wait for someone else to do the needful when you can be that someone yourself.

Let us not leave everything to the cops, let us make their jobs easy by clearing out the mess that the country is in. Now once again this doesn’t mean that you would end up considering violence as the only available option when the best available option is questioning their actions. Shame them in public and drag them to the nearest police station.
You, me, we all can bring about a difference. All that we need is the will to bring about a difference and the urge to bring about a change. The youth of my beloved country will have to start shifting gears and will have to start taking a stand for the others in order to make this country groping free.

Dubai – “An entire World in a City”

2nd March 2015
I was at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad all set to board my flight flying to Dubai. I had no clue what to expect. Yeah I had seen Dubai quite a few times on Discovery Channel and Nat Geo but I don’t trust television so much. I have full faith on my pair of big black eyes. So there I was waiting eagerly to see what Dubai had to offer.

12th April 2015
Woohhhh … It’s been almost a month and a half since I’m in this wonderland. Dubai isn't a city, it is an amusement park. Being a writer I have this bad habit of observing almost everything thing around me as if a story will pop out of it. Well here is Dubai from my point of view…

Let me not get into Dubai’s History and Geography and bore you to death. Let me start by talking about Dubai’s Culture.  Well Dubai according to me is a cake which is layered with different flavors. Where else do you find people of so many cultures gathered at one single place in the hope of making it big in life? You name the country and Dubai has at least a few of its citizens residing in it. I have observed Asians, Africans, Europeans and the Native Locals all around me almost every single day of my stay in Dubai Up till this very date. I just met a Bangladeshi before typing this down. Back in Hyderabad I only saw Hyderabadi's. So for a guy like me this crazy fusion of different cultures all gathered in one place is a magical experience. Dubai, take a bow.

Now let me tell you something about Fashion. Yeah well I wanted to be a model at a point of time in my life but I ended up playing games with my pen and paper. Fashion excites me and once again I started observing the fashion statement out here very keenly.  The local Arabs out here are always dressed up in a Thawb (Traditional Arab wear) and almost all the Pakistani’s that I've observed here are dressed up in Traditional Pathani’s most of the time. The most fashionable people out here are the Filipino’s, hands down. I’m sure most of the Expats like me would agree to this. They sure do know how to dress up and look stunning. Their fashion statement just speaks about one thing and that is they are always ready to party. The Europeans here are mostly very sophisticated and are always dressed in business attire. They look smart no doubt. I am lucky I didn't get arrested for observing people so closely here.

I've just ordered a Shawarma, seriously very hungry. Let me talk about Food. Now it’s pretty clear that with some many cultures here comes a variety of cuisine. You name the dish and in all probabilities you will get the dish. From authentic Chinese cuisine to the local Arab food, you get everything here. I’m not very keen on experimenting with food but I did try a variety of cuisines here and I so loved Pakistani food. That is only because I’m a lover of rich spicy food and Pakistani cuisine gave me exactly what my taste buds wanted.  In Dubai you have a common square meal for around 10 Aed which I guess is pretty manageable. So if you’re a lover of sweet, spicy or let’s just say bland food you will get everything here and that too with a crazy variety. You will end up looking confused like me when it comes to food most of the time. Ohh well my Shawarma is here.  Care for a bite?

I love to party and Dubai is the hub of night life Ladies and Gentlemen.  Almost 80% of the people residing here rise before the sun and are off to make two ends meet.  This is what I have observed. I don’t go by facts on paper; I usually go by what I see and this is exactly what I've seen.  They work hard all day and they party harder all night.  There are a variety of night clubs and pubs out here with some seriously hefty and beefy bouncers. You can drop into anyone of them and have a good time depending on the size of your pocket. Well you know, things can get pretty expensive inside a pub. So make sure you’re loaded with the greens in case you plan to step out of the house at night. I’m a Sheesha lover and the Sheesha that they serve out here is a little different from the ones that I got back in India. They have so many flavors to offer here. So almost in everything you have a hundred of options here. WOW!!!

Ready... Get set... Vrooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Yes you got it right; I’m talking about the cars out here. Being and Indian and stepping in Dubai for the first time I freaked out looking at the cars out here. From a Fast and Furious Shelby Cobra to an elegant and classy Limousine, from an all muscle Dodge Challenger to a Beastly GMC. They have it all.  The roads of Dubai looks like a car exhibition every single day. My dream machine is a Hummer and I've seen enough of it in Dubai. Hope I get to own one someday.

Dubai is also a land of skyscrapers. It is still hard to believe that all the gigantic buildings here were actually constructed by man and not God. You can just keep watching these buildings for hours without getting tired. The only question that is still loitering on my mind is that how the beep did they build such huge buildings? The city is beautifully planned and even more beautifully executed. Most of the roads out here have five lanes and in spite of that you will experience some crazy traffic. Didn't I talk about cars a few seconds ago?  Beautiful place I must say.
Well this is about it for now. I will be back with another article shortly sharing a little more of my experiences as an Expat in Dubai.

Take care.

ह se Hindustan ... ह se Hypocrisy - Part 1

Disclaimer - I do love my country a lot but somewhere down the line I'm not very proud of the way things work here.

1) Indian Politics ... Corruption ... Law etc etc ..
( Even talking about it makes me yawn)

Lets talk about Corruption and Law?  I mean how many of us aren't corrupted? Haven't we bribed the traffic policeman or may be lets say bribed a government official even once? Well I have ... So have you. People take bribes only because we are kind enough to offer them a bribe. We all want the easy way out, Don't we? And Law ... What about Law? Are we all law abiding citizens of India? We all are little criminals, accept it .. Well I have broken the law a few times .. So have you. But when it comes to Politics we all end up becoming a saint.

I'm literally going mad these days because of AAP and BJP nonsense .. I'm sure there are many people like me out there who are going crazy too. Everyone is pointing fingers at each other to prove who's more corrupt. Is it AAP or Is it BJP? Well who cares ... We all are fucking corrupt. When will be stop this blame game? When will people stop being hypocrite assholes? Politics is nothing but a source of entertainment for the majority of population in India. They know shit about the topic but still everyone has a fucking view. I have stopped watching news channels these days ... I don't need to actually ... My neighbors are kind enough to keep me updated about who's fucking whom on the news channels. I prefer watching porn instead... At least its realistic. Ask yourself ... Do you seriously think that things are gonna change? I guess yes .. Things will change .. The day Politics becomes Politics again from Dirty Business things will surely change.

2)  This one is really interesting
 "All India Bakchod - Knockout"

While almost the entire country was laughing their ass off at this crazy new concept ( I am assuming this as their video went viral on youtube in no time) a few Sanskari citizens of India were apparently moaning the death of Indian Values and Cultures. Everyone had a fucking opinion again. My question for all the people who oppose this is very simple .. How many of you guys haven't used grrrrrr bad words like Teri Maa ki, Behen Ki or for that matter even Chutiya in your entire life? We all have used these words at least a few thousand times in our lives already ... Ok sophisticated plush assholes will translate the same in English ...  But none of us can say that we are SAINTS. Then why the hypocrisy? Why are we behind the lives of AIB? They had the balls to do it in public while we restrict it to our comfort zone. Now you may end up calling Deepika and Sonakshi a hypocrite but hey wait a minute ... You're a hypocrite yourself. We screw up values and cultures on a daily basis and when something like this happens we all become Sanskari. This is one of the main reason why I feel that the Indian society is full of Hypocrite bastards.
Say for example when Kamal Rashid Khan aka KRK, the superstar ( LOL)  updates a status or tweets about his views we abuse the life out of him and then we get into the sanskari mode after watching AIB... Funny people.

I mean if AIB fucks around its against our culture then what about the Saas Bahu daily soaps that almost all the women and most of the men watch with utmost interest where women get married multiple times? They just keep getting married.... Hahahaha isn't that against Indian Values and Culture? Think about it... Moving forward.

3) Inter caste Love marriages
( My favorite topic )

"Beta tumne humari pure samaaj mein naak katwadi ... Tumhe pyar karne ke liye ek Muslim ladka hi mila tha? Char log kya kahenge?" says a Hindu Mother who's daughter is in love with a well educated sorted out Muslim boy. But then eventually everything gets fucked up because of these religious differences. Even though my country is modernized we still lack common sense.
Girls and Guys these days are allowed to party all night long but when it comes to inter caste love marriages, we once again go back to the Sanskari mode and we start talking about our values and culture. I still don't get it .. What the fuck it wrong with you people? Don't you wanna see your child happy with the one they are madly in love with?

"Ohh I am a modern mother .. I allow my daughter to wear skirts and go out with friends .. It's her life after all," said a Mother.

"Aunty ji would you be fine if your daughter gets married to a well settled guy who does not belong to your caste?" I asked,

"Yeah kya bol rahey ho beta? Char log kya kahenge?" was her reply.

Such is the level of hypocrisy in my country ...

Well different people have different views .. This judgement is purely based on what I think.

Ek puri Novel likh di is topic pe ... Kab sudhrogey Uncle Aunty??

Go and read Via Delhi -  A twisted tale of Love

4) Woman Empowerment

An open question to every single woman who is reading this.

How many of you feel safe in your own neighborhood?

What more should I talk about women empowerment when the women in my country lack safety?
The President of USA, Mr Barack Obama was in India for the Republic day and boy oh boy ... I was pretty impressed with the security in Delhi. Yeah Delhi ... Oye don't laugh ... I'm serious ... I'm talking about Delhi only ... So what if Delhi is the crime capital of India? So what if Delhi registers the maximum number of rape cases every year? We should be proud that we made Mr. Obama feel safe.

Dear Ministers of India,

First protect the girl child and then talk about saving the girl child and educating them.

The Politicians of my Country are by far the biggest bunch of hypocrites that I have seen.
Don't take me wrong please ... I'm not stopping you from falling in love with BJP or AAP.

P.S - Where are all the cctv cameras gone? Bhadey pe liya tha kya?

ABHI KE LIYE ITNA HI ... MILTE HAI BREAK KE BAAD!!

Ab jab itna read kar hi liya hai toh comment bhi kardo ... Gaali waali ... sab chalta hai

Khwaja Garib Nawaz - Ajmer Sharif Dargah - A place where I found "PEACE"

"Khwaja mere khwaja,
Dil mein sama ja
Shaaho ka shaah tu,
Ali ka dulaara"

2014 has been a year filled with mixed emotions. A perfect blend of tragedies followed by
waves of unexpected success and fame. It was a year filled with tears of sorrow as well as
happiness. But the thing that was missing was PEACE. My mind kept wandering on the
roads of pain and mental torture most of the time. From crying my eyes out every night to signing my first autograph ... From smoking marijuana in the hope to find sleep to
connecting with my Fans. 2014, I've experience it all.

I have made some very bad decisions in my life and quitting my Job in May 2014 tops the
chart. But then I was mentally disturbed ... My mind was always on the Insanity Mode.
So I don't entirely blame myself for it.

"Love can make you or break you .. It tore me apart" is a line from my Novel
Via Delhi-A twisted tale of Love

This was exactly my condition throughout 2014. The only question that used to loiter on
my mind every time was "Why me? Where did I go wrong?" and believe me these questions have given me sleepless nights almost every single night in 2014. So now you guys know
why do you always find me online on Facebook even at 04.00 am. People often tell me that I should not be very open about my personal life in public now that I'm a known writer but I
laugh it off even thought I know that they are right. I want my life to be an open book for
as long as I live even though the story is not very gripping.

The entire year has passed by cursing my life. The only thing good about 2014 was my
debut novel. I ended up becoming a published Author and all that it took was just one
book to give me name, fame, success, recognition, newspaper interviews, radio interviews,
e-magazine interviews etc etc. But was I really happy? NO was the answer. Life was still very much incomplete. By now I had become an expert in faking smiles. It helped me camouflage
a mentally disturbed mind and a broken heart perhaps. Today when I think about it,
I laugh.

29th December 2014 - Ajmer - A day that I shall always remember.

I woke up around 08.00 am and looked around only to find my parents and little sister
already dressed up to pay their homage to Khwaja Garib Nawaz. It was bitterly cold that
morning. The temperature was around 6 degrees. I somehow managed to take a shower
fearing hypothermia. I know it sounds crazy to use such a hardcore term ... But I was
seriously shivering. Being born and brought up in Mumbai and then later on spending 8
years of my life in Hyderabad, I was never really used to cold temperatures.

We were on our way to the Dargah which was briefly a mile way from the Royal Melange
Hotel. It is said that all your wishes are fulfilled at this Dargah. A prayer made from the
deepest corner of your heart will never go empty and I decided to do just that. I decided to pray .. I decided to ask for so many things ... In short, I became greedy. I wanted it all...

"We entered the Dargah premises and believe me I went blank. I forgot about everything
else that was going on on my mind just a few minutes ago. I still wonder how did this
happen. How did I forget everything so soon? And the worst part is that I couldn't even
recollect all that I had decided to ask for. The Dargah was as usual very crowded and with
the help of a Holy Man who calls himself Baba Fakri we managed to get inside the the actual
shrine through the VIP gate.

My entire world flipped upside down as soon as I got in and I started crying like a baby.
I just kept crying and crying without an end to it. I had no clue what was going on.
There were so many things that I wanted to ask with a greedy smile on my face but I
couldn't ask for anything at all.

Khwaja Garib Nawaz knew what I really wanted ... And that was PEACE.

After paying homage we came out of the shrine and took a seat close to a group of
Kawali singers who were singing Kawali's. The music was so soothing.... I was enjoying
the music ... I was actually enjoying something after months. My mind was was at peace .. My soul was at peace .. My body was at peace. I started feeling good about myself ..
I started feeling good about my achievements in life. I mean how many people get the opportunity to become a celebrated Author at the age of 27? Not many that I know of. My eyes were still pretty moist but then there was a smile on my face. It was like a divine soul had
just embraced me and healed me completely. Peace was something that was missing in my
life and peace is exactly what I got.

On any other given day I am usually lost in thoughts and end up sulking most of the time
but things were different now as if I had undergone a brainwash therapy. My mind was all of a sudden free from every single thought that used to disturb me. I thought this is just a
one time gesture. I will be back to being myself the next day but today is the 5th day and
my mind is still hanging around with peace rather than stupid thoughts. The feeling is just
like I have attained some kind of a Nirvana. I still wonder how can an emotional fool turn
sane in just a matter of a few minutes.

I had indeed experienced a "Healing Touch"

I have slept like a log ever since I got back home. I am much more happier now...

When you fall down .. You always have two option .. Either to stay down and cry for the
rest of you life or to get up and start walking again. Khwaja Garib Nawaz helped my get
back up. He helped me get back my smiles ... He helped me get back the lost PEACE.

3rd Jan 2015 - Present day.

I have just completed writing the 3rd chapter of my 2nd novel and I am confident that this novel will end up taking me places. I am going to chase my Bollywood dreams like never
before...

Khwaja Garib Nawaz - Ajmer Sharif Dargah - A place where I found "PEACE"

"Khwaja mere khwaja,
Dil mein sama ja
Bekaso ki takdir,
Tune hai sawari"
